The Rib Eye steak is, in our opinion, the best steak in the beef. It is very tender and at the same time contains a great amount of marbling therefore producing uber-juicy and flavourful results.

To get into butchering technicalities, the Rib Eye muscle is the continuation of the same muscle as the Blade, but it is cut between the 5th and 12th ribs which is a section of the beef that does very little work (hence the tenderness).

Our standard 1" cut will weigh about 10-14oz., so for two people consider ordering one thicker steak or two thin steaks.

Make your own Steakhouse Butter:

  • If you do not have your butter at room temperature, grate it on the large side of a boxed grater & wait a few minutes, or, place in microwave for 10-15 seconds until soft (DO NOT LET IT MELT)
  • Place 4 Tbsp soft butter in a small bowl, add the minced garlic,1/4 tsp kosher salt & finely chopped parsley. Combine with a fork.
  • Place the butter on a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap, roll into a log, twist the ends (it will look like a sausage) & place in the freezer for 7-10 minutes till firm.
  • Once firm, remove from freezer, peel-off parchment or plastic and slice into half-inch discs. When resting, place atop your steak to melt.
