Blend of 60% Sangiovese, 25% Merlot, 10% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, from vines ranging 7-15 years in age, harvested the 2nd half of Sept to the beginning of Oct. The wine was fermented for 15 days in temperature controlled, stainless steel tanks, aged for 8 months in oak barrels, 50% in 300L French oak barriques and 50% in big oak barrels of 3,000L, then further aged in bottle for 4 months prior to release.
